My Last Match!

                        September 24, 2013

On the 24th I had my last tennis match of my freshman year. It was against a private school called Walsh Jesuit. They are an amazing team and it was cool to play against them. I was positioned to play fourth singles, the girl I played was really good. I ended up losing but the team did okay overall. We had two wins: one at third singles by Jennifer and one at second doubles by Priyanka and Hailey. Sadly, overall we lost the match but it was a lot of fun and i got to see all of my junior varsity tennis friends. That Friday, we all went out to eat at Olive Garden. Most of the team showed up including the following: Priyanka, Megan, Abigail, Jennifer, Sarah, Hailey, Perrine, and Lauren was there for a little while. When we first arrived, we realized there were a lot of people there and they don't take reservations so we waited for about forty-five minutes. When we finally got to our table we took up a good amount of the room. The food and service was great and we shared a lot of laughs. After the check was payed and everyone was about to leave, we all exchanged hugs and said goodbye to each other. Tennis was a lot of fun and I am glad I got to start off freshman year playing it and meeting so many awesome girls. I love you guys!

The Apple Orchard

Simon is Ready to Go!
An Apple Tree
The Inside of the Apple Orchard

A Beautiful View

September 22, 2013
Today, I went to an apple orchard with my parents, sister, and puppy, Simon. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed everything they had to offer. The drive there was pretty long. It is out in the country so we saw some farms and a lot of big, open fields where animals were grazing. As soon as we got there, you could tell it was packed. There were cars everywhere and it was easy to tell this was a very popular place to be. The inside was really big and there were carts of apples everywhere! It was really pretty with the exposed beams and stone fireplace. After a little while of looking around we got some apple cider and ice cream, mine was chocolate-chip cookie dough. (Yummy.) After our delicious ice cream, we got a big bag and went behind the building to some of the apple trees. The weird thing about the "trees" was they were actually more like bushes even though the ones in the front were trees. We picked about fifteen apples in the back. It was nice just walking around and smelling the late September air. It's weird in Ohio, right now it's sunny but it wasn't that nice in July, what the heck Ohio? We eventually made our way to the front and picked about ten more apples. Like this one:

I love the fall with all its scents and scenery. The new trends this fall are: leather jackets, letterman jackets, fur, stripes, and high-ankle boots. Some colors for fall are: navy blue, gold, and earthy tones. I had an awesome time at the orchard and cannot wait to go back soon.
